His shell is painted in the gray areas with several layers of glossy model car enamel..two shades of red..reddish orange.

 Eyes were repainted, beak given a sneering sort of look with teeth half bared towards one side..horns fashioned of polymer clay and set onto shell.

 His cheeks were repainted..the blush pink did not go with his colouring
